Our company processes all ready to ship products within 3-5 business days.

Oftentimes, orders process faster than that but we can’t guarantee a faster processing time.

Made to Order vs. Pre-Made

Check a listing carefully to understand if a product is pre-made and ready to ship or if the product is ordered before it’s handmade.

Both are handmade but the pre-made is shipment ready while the made-to-order products can take up to 4 weeks to be created for you. Depending on the size of the order, the product, material availability etc.

Look for the following image if a product is ready for shipment immediately:


The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.

Care for your new product(s) by:

  • Handwash in cold water OR
  • In a garment bag in the “Delicates” / “Wool” wash cycle – NO SPIN-DRY
  • Reshape
  • Lay flat to dry

Your product(s) can be damaged if:

  • Washed too hot
  • Dried in the dryer
  • Come too close to fire etc.


To custom order the correct size, here’s what you do:

Grab your tape measure and record these two numbers:

  1. Head Circumference: wrap the tape measure around the head, resting it in the middle of the forehead.
  2. Hat Length: place the end of the tape measure on the top, center of the head and run it down the side to the base of the ear.

For slouchy hats add 2” to the 2nd number.

If you are not providing above mentioned numbers, we will be using the following sizing chart as reference:

We always love creating new products from scratch.

Custom orders can have a lengthier processing time.

Tracking Numbers will be provided to you.

International shipping

We happily support and love our international customers.

We ship all International products through:

  • DYK-Post Edmonton (Cross border Shipper using FedEx and USPS)
  • Canada Post

Nina Laluca is not responsible for duty or brokerage fees for international shipping.

These charges come from your country during importation of your package.

Cost calculations

We do our best to apply fair shipping costs to each order.

* We offer free shipping within Northamerica on all orders over $100 and international Shipping on orders over $150


Selecting expedited shipping during checkout does not ensure a faster processing time. Your product will still need the communicated time, as stated within the listing or custom quote, to be handmade.

In selected cases we can offer Rush Orders for a Fee. (please inquire for a Quote)


Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since the delivery of your item, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Personalized and customized goods are exempt from being returned unless the product arrives defective.

Additional non-returnable items:

* Gift cards

* Essential Oils

* Shipping Charges (unless the return is due to our error or a defective product)

To complete your return, please contact us so we can start the return process for you.

Please include the order number, date of purchase and reason why you wish to return the item.

Please do not send your purchase back to us without contacting us first.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the initial cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
